Sister Patricia Returns to Ireland
Her work will bear fruit for generations of Fijians
by Bob Sykes

Sister Patricia and child Sister Patricia McLaughlin, Loloma’s angel of the main Island of Fiji, Viti Levu, will be leaving Fiji and returning to her native Ireland sometime during 2010. This will indeed be a sad day for the children Nausori and the people of Fiji.
A Catholic nun of order of Daughters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul, Sister Patricia works tirelessly building schools, creating computer labs, getting a warm blanket to a sick child—teaching, giving wherever it is needed. She has given hope and a future to countless children that have come in touch with her. Her tireless commitment and unselfish love is inspiring.
