Third Annual IMN Content Marketing Survey - Executive Report

For the third year in a row, IMN conducted a survey on one of the most talked about marketing practices, content marketing. Joe Pulizzi, founder of The Content Marketing Institute, defines Content Marketing as "a marketing process to attract and retain customers by consistently creating and curating content in order to change or enhance a consumer's behavior." The goal of the survey was to:

  • Better understand how marketing professionals view content marketing, and how it fits within the context of their marketing strategy
  • Understand how formal of a strategy they have in place
  • Learn how marketers measure the effectiveness of their content marketing program
  • See what challenges and successes marketers have had in executing content marketing programs to date
